International women's health day was observed in KMCT CAHS. The IQAC and Students Union of KMCT CAHS, jointly organized an awareness program to spread the importance of health, problems encountered and combating measures in the adolescent and mature women population.

The program commenced with a Prayer song by the college choir.
Mr. Mohammed Ashfaq, Class Representative of College Union for IV BPT, welcomed the gathering.
Prof. Dr. Santheep S., Principal gave the inaugural address. Felicitation address were delivered by Prof. Dr. Vijay Selvan N., HOD of Physiotherapy Department; Mrs. Soumya S., HOD of MLT Department; Mrs. Vijisha, HOD of Optometry Department; and Dr. Manju , HOD in-charge of Perfusion Department.
Dr. Chellama shared deep insights about the importance of maintaining female hygiene, mitigating the stigma on the concepts and societal views on mensturation, the advancement of technology on the scientific implications on female health, faulty practices in PCOS, and methods to reduce the health problems.
Vote of Thanks was rendered by Ms. Hiba Fathima of III BPT.
Dr. Chellama was honoured with a momento and shawl as the token of gratitude.
